Missions - Bryan & Holly Hixson, Kigali, Rwanda

Bryan & Dr. Holly Hixson were members at QSCC from 2003-2007. At this same time, Holly served on the faculty at OC as a chemistry professor and Bryan served as the Director of the North Institute for Teaching and Learning. During their time at Quail, Bryan served on the missions committee as the liaison to the Jenkins in Rwanda and Holly served with the Worship Team. Following a GO Team project in 2006 the Hixsons joined the work full-time in August 2007.

The Hixsons have worked in 11 different countries in short-term projects with Let’s Start Talking. Since joining the work in Rwanda with ROC Partners, Bryan has been serving as the Executive Director-RW managing the ROC property, projects, and staff. Bryan also serves as the Chairman of the KICS School Board and serves in administrative and pastoral roles with CCR.

Holly teaches chemistry and earth science for KICS and serves facilitating various ROC education projects including Peace Through Business, Rwanda Presidential Scholars, and Let’s Start Talking. Holly serves CCR through its worship team and vulnerable children’s ministry. The Hixsons receive about 7% of their financial support from Quail families.
