Spiritual Formation with Quail Springs Church of Christ
Our Objective
Equipping adults and their children to build a life-long relationship with God with a strong Biblical foundation
Our Values
Family First
Parents are primary. Spiritual development can and should begin from the earliest age with parents as the primary nurturers of their children’s faith. Rather than being activity directors, Ministry Staff become spiritual guides on the journey and equippers of parents/church/community to bring about the 8 checkpoints.
Community Confirms
Community is where successful Christian discipleship is modeled, mistakes corrected, and grace given. God designed us to live in community and to experience Him in ways that can only happen in proximity to one another. Children need an environment of love and respect to be free to receive and give God’s grace.
Scripture Rules
Scripture is our standard for faith and practice. It is the foundation for each of the checkpoints. We will communicate each Bible story within the context of God’s bigger story. Each person is not only part of this story, but part of the fellowship of past, present, and future believers.
Everyone Ministers
Even at an early age, God can speak to our hearts and lead us through the Holy Spirit. Rather than direct kids at every turn, provide an atmosphere that helps them look to God for wisdom and guidance. Likewise, Children/Teens have unique gifts for the body of Christ. Their gifts are to be recognized and encouraged in the larger community of faith and world.
